Completion of First Year of the Diploma in Electrical Installation & Maintenance Technology, or equivalent

This second-year diploma takes you from basic wiring to professional installation and maintenance work. You will learn how industrial power systems, motors and control panels work, how to find and fix faults, and how to plan and supervise electrical jobs. With workshop practice, on-site training and a final project, you graduate ready to work as a skilled technician or supervisor, or to take up electrical contracting on your own.
